Civil Suit
Updates:
As of April 2007, the judge presiding over the case has ruled in favor of Shidoshi Dallas against Scott Staples, Kyle Ingram, Aaron Cuffee, and Phil Farmer. See below for the judge's orders.
William Turner and Amanda Appel were both released under an ADR (Alternate Dispute Resolution). See below.
Here are the Orders of Injunction against all of the defendants that defaulted in the case:
One myth about the lawsuit is that it was dismissed with prejudice by a federal judge due to lack of merit and is over. This is not the case. The suit was dismissed by a federal judge without prejudice due to a jurisdiction discrepancy. See the dismissal below:
It is clearly visible in bold at the end of the motion that the judge dismisses the case without prejudice.
So does this mean that the suit was beaten? Hardly. After some revisions the suit was refiled in Tennessee State Court. This time the judge thought that his court had jurisdiction.
Another myth about the suit is that it has been filed against the defendants because they questioned the legitimacy of the lineage of Konigun. This is not the case. They have been sued for invasion of privacy, libel, defamation of character, and false claims, among other things. For more specific details, see below.
This is the case as it was filed in court the second time:
Note that in this document, as well as in the exhibits below, all addresses and the names of those not involved have been blacked out to protect privacy.
