Understanding the Past
If a person has the choice to affect the life of many in a good way or in a bad way then the only reasonable choice is to build, not destroy. There are many pathways in life and so few absolutes. I have experienced many triumphs and chasms in life. Often my triumphs are short lived for there are people who can only feel good about themselves by bringing down the things you love through making you re-live your mistakes.
If a man builds a thousand bridges but only gets in trouble with the law once, then society will surely brand him a criminal and speak nothing of him being a great bridge builder. In my case, I have actually been stalked by people who would hide behind the internet to bash me, my students, my instructors, Konigun Ninjutsu, and even my family and deceased sister whom they have never met. One such person is a man who knew me for less than three months in 1984, 24 years ago, and has never met me since. If you read this fellow's trash talk and misinformation, he seems to know all about me. However, he does not know of nor will he acknowledge the good things I have done when he is told of them. He just spews negativity from his diarrhea mouth on the net.
So let me set the record straight. I was about 22 years old and I gave part of the information that another person took and combined with more elements to make $1,040.00 in counterfeit money. His friend tried to pass $40.00 and got caught. This person and his friend told the Secret Service that I gave them some of the information that contributed to them manufacturing counterfeit money. I state that I never uttered (passed, sold, or traded) any counterfeit money, but I am guilty of both being naive and of giving the information. Therefore, I was and still am convicted under Title 28 section 371, Conspiracy to Counterfeit.
I have, for the last 24 years, taught people about my life's experience so they may avoid my fate. I have spoken openly in my martial arts classes to all persons about all my past mishaps with the law. In fact, I have promoted, organized, held, financed, and given speeches in over 18 drug and suicide prevention seminars in public schools, metro center malls, and so on, using my criminal past to reach out to youth in hopes that they will be smarter than I.
To compound my problem, while on parole, I was arrested for a second crime that I did not commit, but since I could not make bail, I was convicted and endured the following. Here you must decide on your own if I am guilty. Here are the events and the facts leading up to and after the second conviction. Please read them and decide for yourself.
One Quick Note: I have never been charged with a DUI, a sex crime, or any domestic crime. My criminal history consists of the two convictions spoken of here and 3 speeding tickets.
